Spend a week of Scouting adventure on the beach at Camp Fiesta Island! This Aquatic Center facility is located on beautiful Mission Bay. You'll camp among the sandy dunes and set sail for the Pacific Ocean. Campers at CFI enjoy the ultimate waterfront experience.
Scouts can kayak the bay, test their skills in the famous Flying Hull and Nautical Survival programs, or spend the day learning to surf. Meals are prepared by one of San Diego's finest caterers. Camp Fiesta Island is Southern California at its best!
Along with our very popular merit badge and first year "Mariner" programs, the CFI summer camp experience will feature exciting activities for Scouts of all ages. Pack your trunks and sun screen for a great summer camp!
LEADERS GUIDE (Coming Soon)
(The 2017 Leaders Guide is provided as a reference. The 2018 version will be posted as soon as it becomes available.)
Scouts who cannot attend camp with their own troop, or wish to attend for additional weeks, may attend as part of our provisional troop. The provisional troop is made up of boys from San Diego-Imperial and other councils. It is a great opportunity to meet new friends and experience summer camp in a whole new way.
The troop is supervised by full time staff whose only job is to ensure that the Scouts' week at camp is the best it can be. To join the provisional troop please complete the online registration form. All information must be completed for the registration to be processed. Omitting information will delay the registration process.
Cost per scout per week is $465 and includes a camp t-shirt.
Session 10 ~ August 6 - 10
Merit Badge Signups will begin early May. Email will be sent to all registration owners with date, time and link. Your unit must be paid in full prior to Merit Badge Sign ups.
Our Nautical Survival program combines the best of Scouting's outdoor tactics. Start with the popular Wilderness Survival merit badge, toss in a simulated "shipwreck", add lifesaving skills, and build your own raft to escape the island!
Hit the waves or head to a prime dive spot for an adventure you won't forget. Our expert staff will teach you the skills required to enjoy these great aquatic activities.
The Open Program Day gives Scouts the opportunity to experience San Diego, including the San Diego Zoo, Solid Rock indoor rock climbing, San Diego Padres baseball games, the Flowrider Surf Pool at Belmont Park, Sea World and more!
Extend your adventure with our new "Camp San Diego" option! Pitch your tents at our 15-acre Camp Balboa, next door to the world famous San Diego Zoo. You can add days before or after your Fiesta Island week to enjoy the Zoo, Sea World, a Padres game at Petco Park, the the USS Midway aircraft carrier and more!
